The Emmy Award winner, Charles Barkley shakes hands with TNT again, to an extension of a new 10 year contract to remain a part of the exceptionally popular Inside the NBA Game Show.
Despite the repeated statements of Barkley regarding his retirement at the age of 60 years, TNT has made a huge commitment to him and his colleagues and decided to re-sign them.
Although Shaquille O’Neal has already had a long term agreement, TNT has also re-signed analyst Kenny Smith and host Ernie Johnson to their new deals. All these deals were officially announced by Turner Network Television on Monday, 17th october.
The current contract of Barkley, which pays him $10M, has yet a time period of 3 years left for the expiration.
Now Charles inks a deal of more than $100 million for further 10 years which could reach to $200 million if Barkley sticks with TNT for the undivided deal as Barkley has every right to choose to retire before the termination of the deal.
